NOTE TO PLANNING AND ASSIGNMENT EDITORS

The parade provides very good, cute, daylight shots of kids in costumes parading around the park accompanied by parents. Good complement for coverage of the adult parade.

NYU students volunteer to assist with distributing treats and performing, including NYU music groups, cheerleaders and dance teams.

The parade is organized and conducted in cooperation with the Department of Parks and Recreation, McDonald’s Restaurants of Greenwich Village, the Village Alliance BID, the NoHo BID, the Washington Square Association, K-Mart, and the Village Halloween Parade.
