Photo Op Celebrates NYU Fund Providing 215 Theatre Tickets Tonight for Cops, Firefighters and High Schoolers Displaced by the 9/11 Tragedy WHAT: A photo op to recognize New York University’s donation of tickets to send more than 200 firefighters, police officers and lower Manhattan high school students. The tickets, for “Les Miserables and “The Full Monty,” were purchased through funds provided by NYU students NYU’s “Give Your Regards to Broadway” program sent more than 2,000 students to top Broadway performances; students were only required to pay a $5 co-payment, which funded the tickets for uniformed personnel and high school students.
