You can go to studentvote.nyu.edu now to vote for your school and university-wide councils representatives. These councils are the governing and programming bodies for their respective constituencies, focusing on community building, advocacy and serving their constituents.
As members of the Student Senators Council and University Senate, School Senators serve as the voice of their school or college’s student body in university-wide government. As a School Senator, these representatives will have the opportunity to work alongside your peers, as well as faculty, administrators and alumni, to create meaningful change in your school and the university as a whole.

Senators at-Large serve as a university-wide representatives that advocate on behalf of constituencies and communities not fully captured by school affiliation. Current Senators at-Large have represented students of color, financial aid recipients, student workers, and international students, but prospective candidates of all backgrounds and identities are encouraged to apply to represent and advocate for their communities.
Every returning graduate and undergraduate student is eligible to apply and those interested should seek to make a positive impact in their respective communities and serve as an advocate for students across the global network.
The application for Senators at-Large and Alternate Senators at-Large is due by 11:59 PM on Thursday, April 12th, 2018.
