The Benefits Committee reviews existing policies that affect administrators and submits recommendations for potential changes. Working closely with NYU Human Resources, the Committee ensures administrators are aware of policy changes that may affect them and hosts Benefit Spotlights each semester to shed light on relevant topics. Each year, the Committee partners with AMC Senators serving on the Senate Financial Affairs Committee to draft a letter outlining the AMC’s recommendations for the upcoming fiscal year.

Our committee is a great place to share your voice and experiences related to benefits, advocate for the needs of your colleagues, and be a part of instituting change as the University looks to the future of compensation, retention, and work/life balance going forward.
Chaired by the AMC Parliamentarian, the Bylaws Committee reviews the AMC Bylaws to address the changing needs of the Council, eliminate ambiguities, suggest resolutions to matters directed to it by the Council, and offer updates as appropriate.

As written in the University Bylaws, the AMC "has a commitment to community service." But to the Community Service Committee, this work transcends the Bylaws.
The Community Service Committee runs charity drives and events that impact thousands of lives in NYC and around the globe. This past year, the Committee thoughtfully considered the organizations we partnered with and how our work intersects with IDBEA initiatives.

AIDE strives to sustain a community of administrators vested in creating a more inclusive, diverse, and equitable NYU. Our initiatives related to Global Inclusion, Diversity, Belonging, Equity, Accessibility (GIDBEA) are enacted through communication and collaborations with University partners and leadership to monitor progress, provide policy recommendations, and strengthen initiatives focusing on workplace climate, diversity in hiring and employee retention, and encouraging participation in professional development activities meant to strengthen community, increase awareness, and develop solidarity. AIDE works closely with the University’s Office of Global Inclusion, Diversity, and Strategic Innovation (OGI) to elevate and address the needs and desired outcomes of NYU’s administrators related to the mission.
Do not wait for someone to make the change you hope to see. Take the initiative to make change happen.

AMC Art Show
This annual art exhibit is an opportunity for NYU administrators to showcase their artistry through their original photographs, paintings, drawings, sculptures, collages, and more.
This year, visual art, musical performances, and spoken word pieces were hosted online throughout the summer.
