The Office of University Events is charged with planning and implementing major university events. Its primary responsibilities are the All-University Commencement Exercises, Grad Alley, and NYU Welcome Day, organized annually in partnership with other University offices. University Events also plans academic convocations and unique-in-time events such as dedications of new facilities, presidential inaugurations, academic symposia, and visits by dignitaries, at university campus locations in New York and abroad.  In doing so, the office seeks to build community spirit and convey the university’s message, agenda, and image to both the internal and external audiences in the United States and around the world.

A University-wide partner, University Events provides logistical and event planning support to NYU schools and divisions.  The department manages an internal property rental system, and has some custom New York University products created by Tiffany & Co.® available for departmental purchase.  Please email university.events@nyu.edu for product information.

Visit the Events Calendar for a centralized listing of activities organized by the University's schools, departments, centers, and programs.
Please note:
The Office of University Events is not responsible for the Events Calendar nor is it affiliated with most events shown on that calendar.
