Jess DePasquale
Jess DePasquale is the Program Administrator at the Work Life office, where she supports the planning and implementation of various programs and special projects. Jess uses her previous experience supporting quality teaching and learning environments during the early childhood years to support programming for those who are family-building, expecting, and new parents at NYU. She has spent time volunteering and studying abroad and brings her global lens to her work at NYU. She is especially passionate about LGBTQIA+ advocacy, immigrant justice, and building solidarity movements in NYC and beyond.
Before joining the team, Jess worked for 3 years for NYC Public Schools to support the expansion of universal childcare under the 3-K and Pre-K for All initiatives. Her work supported community-based childcare and sought to make the partnership between these organizations and the city more equitable. Jess earned her MPA from SUNY Buffalo State in International Nonprofit Management, completed her MA in Urban Studies with a focus on Community Leadership from the CUNY School of Labor and Urban Studies, and graduated with a dual BA in International Relations and Spanish from Canisius College of Buffalo.
