Anila Churi

Anila Churi is the Communications Manager for the Work Life office. Working across program and focus areas, she brings her background in strategic communications to define the voice and scale the impact of the office across the University. Anila is currently pursuing her MBA at the NYU Stern School of Business, where she is studying branding, leadership and change management, and sustainable business practices, and is using this business lens to support organizational change on work-life matters. 

Before joining the Work Life team, Anila worked for 7 years at the NYU SPS Center for Global Affairs, where she managed student engagement, recruitment, and advising. Before joining NYU she worked as Director-Publisher at the North American Congress on Latin America, as the Communications and Program Manager for the New Media Advocacy Project, and as a researcher at Travel + Leisure Magazine. Anila holds an M.S. in Global Affairs from NYU and a B.A. in Latin American Studies from Oberlin College. She loves to travel, cook, read, and practice yoga, and is a 200-hour Registered Yoga teacher.
