In March of 2015, Doreen joined the NYU Wasserman Center as the Student Employment Assistant and now serves as our Student Employment Manager. Earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Resources Management from Rutgers University, she is well versed in the fundamentals of organizations and their employees. Having worked as a Human Resources Coordinator in the Healthcare and Retail industries after graduation, Doreen is thrilled to shift gears! Supporting the student employment function here at NYU where the students are top priority, Doreen looks forward to interacting with the diverse population that NYU is known for. Outside of work, Doreen loves to listen to different genres music, eat amazing foods, and explore new places and activities. Doreen is also very passionate about intersectionality, especially regarding social issues and the LGBTQQIA community.

Jazmine Rhodes

Jazmine Rhodes is a Student Employment Specialist at the Wasserman Center. Prior to joining the Wasserman Center in April 2016 Jazmine attended St. Johns University in 2015 on a full Athletic Soccer Scholarship where she was working toward her Master's Degree in Sociology. Prior to St. John's University, Jazmine attended the University of Cincinnati on a full Athletic Soccer Scholarship where she graduated in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice as well as a Certificate in Sign Language. Originally from Long Beach, California Jazmine lettered in Soccer and Track & Field at one of the top athletic schools in the country, Long Beach Poly High School. Jazmine is an advocate for helping young inner city student-athletes navigate and prepare through the college process for the next steps of their collegiate career. In her free time she enjoys traveling, shopping, playing soccer and spending time with her daughter.  

Amber Payne

Amber is an Student Employment Assistant at the Wasserman Center for Career Development. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management and a passion for helping people. She loves to help individuals succeed and revels in the achievement of her peers. Amber enjoys long walks on the beach, travel of any distance, gazing at the stars, and the feeling of being small. She’s excited to be a part of the team at the Wasserman Center and looks forward to her future helping students achieve their goals.
