The mission of the NYU Office of Student Affairs Research and Assessment is to advance the effectiveness of Student Affairs in its two-fold purpose of complementing and supporting the University's academic mission as an international center of scholarship, teaching and research, and enhancing the quality of life for students both in and out of the classroom. 

This mission is accomplished by providing outstanding support for continuous improvement in the Division through management of its outcomes assessment and program review processes; providing perspectives on information and research for use in data-driven decision making; and providing services in research design, data collection, statistical analysis and report preparation to Division units and staff.
