Joseph Juliano

Vice Provost for Planning and Academic Operations

As Vice Provost for Planning and Academic Operations, Joe Juliano works closely with schools with a particular emphasis on planning academic initiatives and overseeing special projects. Mr. Juliano is responsible for university-wide space planning especially as it relates to academic development. As such, he serves as chair of the Space Planning Working Group that is advisory to the Provost. He acts, on behalf of the Provost, as executive client on select capital projects including planning studies. Mr. Juliano also works closely with the University Registrar in support of classroom planning including, amongst other aspects, development and implementation of scheduling policies. 

Mr. Juliano has worked at NYU since 1983 in several roles but most prominently as the administrative lead and chief business officer in the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, in the Faculty of Arts & Science, and in the Office of Global Programs.  He graduated from Rutgers University in 1980.
