Casey serves as the Assistant Director of Faculty Affairs at NYU Shanghai. Casey is responsible for the overseeing of all policy and process implementation related to the faculty members of NYU Shanghai and serves as their academic HR partner; in a Global capacity she is responsible for overseeing the alignment of Shanghai departmental practices with both Abu Dhabi and New York campuses by working with the Office of the Provost as well as the Office of Faculty HR Affairs. In addition she supports the Office of Global Faculty Development in New York for Shanghai recruitment needs.
Casey holds a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Chicago in Chicago, Illinois. Previously she served as the Technical Assistant to the Dean of Undergraduate Studies in Mathematics, Paul J. Sally, Jr., at the University of Chicago and then as a Senior Accounting Specialist at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
