Anthony Jiga

Vice Provost for Resource Planning

As Vice Provost for Resource Planning, Anthony Jiga advises the Provost on a broad range of academic initiatives and opportunities. He is the senior finance and operations executive in the Office of the Provost and serves as the Provost's liaison to NYU’s schools, colleges, and institutes on academic and fiscal policy matters including, but not limited to, faculty data and reporting, complex cross-school academic budget and program planning, and administrative improvements.

Until June 2018, Tony served as Vice President for Budget and Planning, with responsibility for preparing and managing the consolidated annual operating and capital budgets and multi-year financial plans for all parts of the University other than NYU Langone Health. Before coming to NYU in 2005, he was Chief Financial Officer of The New York Public Library and previously worked for the City of New York Office of Management and Budget, the RAND Corporation, and Alameda County, California.

Tony's B.A. degree is from the University of Michigan and he has a Master of Public Policy degree from the University of California at Berkeley.
