Employee and Labor Relations
The Office of Employee Relations (OER) oversees a full complement of labor and employee relations services to all academic and administrative units at NYU for both represented and non-represented staff. OER services include but are not limited to the following:
- Provide guidance on employment and labor policy/practice in alignment with the University’s philosophies, values, and beliefs to ensure fair and consistent treatment of all NYU staff.
- Interpret, communicate, and assist with implementation of bargaining agreements.
- Partner with union leadership and University management in order to strengthen cooperation and collaboration.
- Provide training to the University community regarding labor and employee relations issues.
