NYU's 16th Presidential Inauguration

On Sunday, September 25, 2016, Andrew D. Hamilton was inaugurated as NYU's 16th President at the Jack H. Skirball Center for the Performing Arts.

The ceremony featured many distinguished guests, including William Berkley, Chair of the NYU Board of Trustees, New York State Senator Chuck Schumer, and Susan Hockfield, President-elect of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.  

After his inaugural address, President Hamilton marked the launch of the Making a Difference Awards, which recognizes members of the NYU community whose efforts have a profound and lasting impact on changing the world for the better.
