Emy Cardoza joins NYU as the director of global diversity education and faculty engagement. Prior to this role, Emy served as the associate dean for student life at Barnard College and the associate director for multicultural student affairs at the University of Chicago. She brings over a decade of experience in diversity education and curriculum design, focusing on a holistic approach to student learning and identity development. Emy received her BA in Religious Studies from Rollins College and has also earned a Master of Divinity from the University of Chicago and a Master of Education from Loyola University Chicago. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Philosophy and Education at Teachers College, Columbia University.
