Lou received his J.D. from Boston University School of Law, where he was a Staff Editor of the International Law Review, a Paul J. Liacos Scholar and received the Book Award for achieving the highest grade in his class in corporation law and he received his B.A. from the University of Virginia in Political and Social Thought With Distinction. Immediately prior to joining NYU in 2008, Lou served as General Counsel to ICON Holdings Corp., an investment company focused on leveraged equipment assets. Previously, he served as General Counsel to Nikko Hotels International (Essex House Real Estate Corporation) and was an associate at the New York office of Dewey Ballantine (now Dewey LeBoeuf), primarily engaged in real estate and corporate finance transactions.
