To: THE NYU COMMUNITY
I know it is customary for a university president to send out an email at the start of the year. But with the opening of 2016-17 and the ceremony inaugurating me as president so closely coinciding, I thought I would forego the traditional email and just provide you with a link to my remarks at the ceremony.
I want to wish each and every one of you good luck with your studies and your academic work. I am thrilled and proud to be at NYU with all of you.
And best wishes to those celebrating the Jewish New Year.
