Lauren Brown

Chief of Staff to the President

Lauren Brown is Chief of Staff to the President, where she supports the President and senior leadership of the University on a wide range of strategic issues.

Lauren has spent her entire career serving institutions of higher education. Her broad experience in academic and faculty affairs, administrative operations, global programs, governance, and strategic planning provides her with a unique understanding of, and ability to support, the constituents with whom she works.

Most recently, Lauren held the position of Associate Secretary of the Corporation at MIT. Prior to her role there, she served as chief of staff to the dean of NYU Steinhardt.

Lauren earned her B.A. in Spanish and Latin American Studies from Dickinson College.
