- NYU's licensing revenue increased 12‐fold, with NYU named the #1 earner among U.S. universities over the past six years.
- In partnership with the city of New York, launched three business incubators focused on the technology sector at the Tandon School.

The incubators have raised more than $200 million in equity funding, and expect to have created 2,600 jobs and more than $700 million in economic impact by the end of 2015.
Research
- R&D expenditures for NYU increased 135% to $523,623,000 in 2014 from $222,978,000 in 2002 (inclusive of the Medical Center).
- Between 2002 and 2013, expenditures for instruction, research, and libraries increased by 98% to $1.4 billion across NYU.
