NYU One Day HQs!
On March 30, 2023, the entire NYU community will join together in support of our students for our annual day of giving - NYU One Day! It will be all hands on deck to reach our goal of 8,000 donations in just 24 hours.
As a thank you for making a One Day gift, and for all you do for the University and its students, there will be 3 One Day HQ locations where you can grab treats & swag, enter into giveaways, and more! All details are below.
NYU One Day HQ - Washington Square
Date & Time: Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 11:30AM - 3:15PM
Location: Kimmel Center, Room 802
Details:
- Visit the Washington Square HQ, show proof of gift or make a gift on site, and receive a food ticket for one of the following items:
- Two tacos from Sidewalk Tacos*
- Chicken tenders & fries w/ special sauce from Yankee Doodle Dandy's*
- One bowl, one salad, or three tacos with protein of your choice from Caribbean King*
- Pick up a refreshing mocktail to go!
- Grab a One Day tumbler or other fun swag items.
- Snap a pic or record a video at the One Day photobooth. Be sure to tag us (@NYUOneDay) on social! See below how your social post can get your school or fund extra prize money.
- Enter a giveaway for a pair of Crocs + NYU croc charms.
- Faculty/Staff Alumni can pick up a cozy NYU blanket!
NYU One Day HQ - Health Sciences Corridor (Please note the date!)
Date & Time: Wednesday, March 29 from 11:30AM-2PM
Location: Lobby of 433 1st Avenue
Details:
- Visit the One Day table in the lobby, show proof of gift or make a gift onsite and receive a food ticket for three tacos at the El Toro Rojo Birria Taco truck*!
- Grab an 1831 Fund or One Day swag item.
- Snap a pic at the table or food truck. Be sure to tag us (@NYUOneDay) on social! See below how your social post can get your school or fund extra prize money.
NYU One Day HQ - Brooklyn
Date & Time: Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 12-2PM
Location: Outside of Jasper Kane Dining Hall in 6 Metrotech Center
Details:
- Join us at the One Day table outside of Jasper Kane Dining Hall, show proof of gift or make a gift onsite, and grab a slice of pizza from Emily Loves Pizza!
- Pick up some fun One Day or 1831 Fund swag!
- Snap a pic at the table and tag us (@NYUOneDay) on social! See below how your social post can get your school or fund extra prize money.
*The fine print:
- Food truck tickets can only be used on the day of the HQ - March 29 for Health Sciences Corridor and March 30 for Washington Square.
- Sidewalk Taco is located near West 4th Street & Greene St. One ticket = 2 tacos of your choice.
- Yankee Doodle Dandy will be located along West 4th Street between Mercer St. & LaGuardia Pl. One ticket = 1 order of chicken tenders and french fries with their special sauce.
- Caribbean King will be located along West 4th Street between Mercer St. & LaGuardia Pl. One ticket = 1 bowl, 1 salad, or 3 tacos with the protein of your choice (jerk chicken, curry chicken, jerk tofu, or coconut shrimp). Oxtails are excluded.
- El Toro Rojo Birria will be located on or near the corner of 26th Street & 1st Avenue. One ticket = 3 tacos. Options include birria, chicken, al pastor, and veggie.
- All swag and food items are while supplies last.
- All gifts to the University are 100% optional.
- Share a photo on social and tag #NYUOneDay, #VioletPride, and #BringingDreamsToLife and the name of the fund or school you're supporting. We'll choose a random winner whose school or fund will receive additional prize money!
