How to Enroll - Visiting Students


Individuals who are not currently pursuing a degree at NYU may register for Winter Session 2010 if you meet the eligibility requirments. Once you have determined whether you are eligible to register, please submit the Winter Session Registration Form found here.

If you do not meet the eligibility criteria or have questions about whether or not you may still participate, please contact the Office of Special Sessions at 212-998-4570 or winter.session@nyu.edu.

Visiting Student Add, Drop/Cancellation Process and Refund Schedule

All winter registration, add/drop requests and payments must be submitted in writing to the Office of Special Sessions, 110 E. 14th Street, Lower Level, Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm EST, phone 212-998-4570, fax 212-995-4642.

** If you wish to change your course schedule after you have registered for courses, please follow this procedure:

Please use our on-line Add/Drop Form to make changes to your registration. Requests received after 5pm EST will be processed the next business day beginning at 9am. Beginning January 4, 2010 all Add/Drop Requests must be made in person at the Office of Special Sessions located at 110 E. 14th Street, Lower Level, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm EST. When dropping a class, be sure to check the refund schedule. (A grade of "W" will be issued beginning the 2nd calendar day of the session for two week courses and on the 1st calendar day of 1 week courses.)

The Office of Special Sessions will be closed during the holiday break from Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009 ( 4pm) to Sunday, Jan. 3, 2010.
