Students who are currently matriculated in an NYU degree program are able to earn credits toward their degree through NYU Winter Session.

Add/Drop: Permission in writing from the professor, then an authorized signature from the Office of Special Sessions is required to add or drop a class.

Students wishing to enroll in a Gallatin course also need a signature from a Gallatin adviser.

NYU Student Add, Drop/Cancellation Process and Refund Schedule

Students may add/drop courses on Albert. Beginning December 7th all Winter Session registration and add/drop requests must be done in person at the Student Services Center located at 25 W. 4th Street between 9am and 5pm EST, Monday through Friday (excluding December 24-January 3).

When dropping a class, be sure to check the refund schedule. A grade of "W" will be issued beginning the 2nd calendar day of the session for 2 week courses and on the 1st calendar day of the session for 1 week courses.

Tuition

The cost of each course is located in the course listing. You will receive an e-bill for winter courses. Payments should be submitted to the Office of the Bursar. For more information on methods of payment, visit the Office of the Bursar website. December 15 is the last day to drop with no financial penalty, see refund schedule below.
