In the spring semester of 2007, NYU conducted a survey of all enrolled undergraduate and graduate students to assess interest in earning credits through intensive courses offered outside of the fall and spring semesters. There was an overwhelming response from students: 79% of undergraduate and 81% of graduate students indicated an interest in taking a winter course. Now, like many other U.S. universities, NYU will add Winter Session to its academic calendar.
