What's Happening during NYU Winter Session
January 5th - January 17th


 

Not all NYU facilities will be open as usual during this time. See below for information regarding office closings.

Please note: It is a good idea to call a building or hall ahead of time if you plan on using it from December 23rd through January 19th.

For emergencies, contact the Public Safety Office at 212-998-2222 or the Wellness Exchange at 212-443-9999; both numbers are also listed on the back of your NYUCard.

NYU Dining Services

Students with a spring meal plan can begin using their dining dollars portion of their plan beginning Jan 5th. Cash is also accepted, for students without a spring meal plan. The following campus dining facilities will be open.

Kimmel Center Marketplace
Monday - Friday | 11:00 am - 7:00 pm

Dunkin' Donuts at University Hall
Monday - Friday | 6:00 am - 8:00 pm and

NYU Campus Cash

All NYU Campus Cash merchants will be honoring campus cash during this time. To view merchant coupons and specials click here.

Residence Halls

All NYU Residence Halls will remain open. Although services such as dining halls and computing labs will operate on their own schedules, many halls will sponsor events over the winter break. See a list or talk to your RA.

Kimmel Center

The Kimmel Center is open until 4:00 pm on December 23rd and re-opens January 5th. For more information click here.

Student Health Center

From January 5th - 18th, Student Health Center hours are as follows: Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm; Friday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. For medical and mental health needs when the center is closed, call the Wellness Exchange at 212-443-9999.

NYU Bookstores

Bookstores will have regular hours.

NYU Computer Store

The computer store will have regular hours.

Bobst Library

Bobst library will have limited hours from January 3rd - 18th. Visit the library website for further information.

Computer Labs

Computer labs will have limited hours (January 2nd -18th). Full information on ITS labs and other services over winter session can be found at www.nyu.edu/its/coverage.

Coles Sports Center

Coles Sports Center will have the following hours over the winter break.
December 27th - 28th (9:00 am - 8:00 pm)
December 29th - 30th (12:00 pm - 10:00 pm)
December 31st (9:00 am - 5:00 pm)
January 1st (CLOSED)
January 2nd (12:00 pm - 10:00 pm)
January 3rd - 4th (9:00 am - 8:00 pm)
January 5th - 9th (12:00 pm - 10:00 pm)
January 10th - 11th (9:00 am - 8:00 pm)
Regular hours will resume on January 12th.

Palladium Athletic Facility

Palladium will be open regular hours during the winter session, except December 31st through January 2nd when it will be closed for New Years Recess.

Wasserman Center for Career Development

Wasserman Center for Career Development is open 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

2:00 pm: Escorted group departs from NYU Wasserman Center for Career Development (133 East 13 St, 2nd Floor) and travels via subway to midtown Manhattan. Please bring your Metro Card.

3:00 - 3:45 pm: Tour of facility

3:45 - 4:30 pm: Discussion of career opportunities
