New York University is excited to offer Winter Session for the first time in January 2008.
Winter Session offers students the chance to enroll in one or two courses which allows for both intensive study of the subject matter and time to enjoy all that New York City has to offer.
During the fall and spring semester, student schedules are overly hectic with a full-time course load, student club responsibilities, work and internship commitments, and social obligations. During the regular semesters students need to focus on their academic progress which often doesn’t always allow freedom to explore a new interest nor time to enjoy the many cultural resources that originally drew them to New York.
Winter Session courses enable students to earn academic credit (major, minor, or elective) in courses that are in high-demand, to accelerate their degree completion, and to concentrate on personal interests.
