Trudy Steinfeld is the Assistant Vice-President and Executive Director of the New York University Wasserman Center for Career Development and oversees over 30 full-time and 25 part-time staff. Trudy has extensive experience in the field of career development, experiential education and recruiting, and is considered a national expert on the job market and employment trend. She has been a frequent media contributor to: The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Business Week, Fortune, New York Daily News, New York Post, Crain’s, NBC, CBS, ABC, MTV, CNN, CNBC, MSNBC, NPR, CBS Radio, The Newshour with Jim Leher and several international television and print news outlets. Trudy was a featured career expert on the cable show "The Job Hunt" as well as the CBS Morning Show. Trudy is a visiting instructor at the NACE Management Leadership Institute and a facilitator at the highly acclaimed Career Services Institute (CSI).
Currently, Trudy is a contributor to Forbes.com. In her column, Career Warrior, she comments on important strategies for college students and graduates seeking career advice. She is also the co-editor and a contributor to Leadership in Career Services: Voices from the Field, a collection of individual voices and perspectives of experienced college and university career services leaders and corporate recruiting professionals. Additionally, Trudy has been a presenter and keynote speaker at over 100 national meetings and conferences including National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) annual meetings, Universum, Women for Hire, and the Global Work and Integrated Learning Conference held in Durban, South Africa. She continues to chair and serve on several key committees, task forces and major conferences for NACE, and advises on several national conferences such as the first ever Global Recruiting Symposium.
Trudy is also a recipient of both NASPA and multiple NACE Excellence awards. Trudy earned her Bachelor’s degree in American Studies and Education from Ramapo College and holds a Master’s degree from the Graduate School of Arts and Science at New York University. She has also completed extensive coursework in Counseling Psychology from the NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. Outside of her professional life, Trudy is passionate about coffee, her dog Norm, and the NY Mets.

Jasmine Chan is Assistant Director of Communications and Engagement at Ernst & Young where she manages internal communications strategy for the firm’s 190,000+ employees. Prior to EY, Jasmine oversaw global public relations for Clements Worldwide, a large international insurance brokerage and risk management provider. She began her communications career at Edelman, focusing on corporate communications, crisis/issues management and integrated brand marketing for Fortune 100 clients like Shell, GE, Nestle and others.
Jasmine currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Conference on Asian Pacific American Leadership (CAPAL), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting Asian-American representation in the public sector. Born in Lowell, MA, she spent her childhood in Hong Kong before living in Los Angeles, New York, London and Washington D.C. Jasmine holds a M.Sc. in Media and Communications from the London School of Economics and a B.A. in History with a minor in East Asian Studies from New York University.
Chuck Cooper joined USAID as Assistant Administrator for Legislative and Public Affairs in January 2013. He previously served as Vice President for Congressional and Public Affairs at the Millennium Challenge Corporation.
From 1997 to 2010, Cooper worked at the U.S. Senate Democratic Policy Committee where he served as staff director (2000-2010), general counsel and deputy staff director (1999-2000), and policy adviser (1997-1999). He served with Senators Harry Reid (D-Nev.), Tom Daschle (D-S.D.) and Byron Dorgan (D-N.D.).
Cooper started his career on Capitol Hill in 1996 as a legislative assistant to Rep. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio). From 1986 to 1996, he practiced law at Smith, Marshall and Weaver in his hometown of Cleveland.
Cooper has a Bachelor's Degree in political science and English literature from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, a Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, and a Master's Degree in public and non-profit management, with a specialization in public policy, from New York University.
Mr. Iman Tariq Kennerly is a Senior Investment Officer with the Overseas Private Investment Corporation's (OPIC) Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Finance Department. Iman has successfully underwritten project finance solutions for foreign direct investment by SMEs around the globe. His OPIC investment experience includes originating projects in over 25 countries in various sectors such as: renewable energy, potable water, financial services, housing, agriculture, tourism, microfinance, education, and humanitarian relief services.
Before assuming his current role with OPIC Finance, Iman served as a Senior Investment Insurance Officer for OPIC's political risk insurance business. His responsibilities included Small Business underwriting and business development, with a focus on Africa, Latin America, and Asia. From 2001 to 2003, Iman rose from an Analyst to an Associate with Lehman Brothers Structured Finance. At Lehman he was responsible for structuring and marketing conventional (non-subprime) Collateralized Debt Obligation securities for top-tier asset managers such as Metlife, Ares Management, and GSC Partners.
Iman left Lehman Brothers in 2003 to earn an MBA in International Finance from New York University's Stern School of Business. And he previously graduated Magna Cum Laude from Howard University in Washington, D.C., earning a BBA in International Business.
David Ong is the Director of Corporate Recruiting at MAXIMUS Inc, a professional services firm delivering operations support and consulting services to government agencies focused on healthcare and human services administration. Prior to joining MAXIMUS in 2004, he led college recruiting functions at organizations such as Capital One, Citigroup Corporate and Investment Bank and Booz Allen Hamilton. He currently serves on the executive committee for the National Association of Colleges and Employers. David holds a BA in English from the University of Richmond.
Kevin Rose is a Financial Services Principal in the Monitor Deloitte Strategy practice with nearly twenty years of experience helping leading institutions better respond to their customers’ needs. His areas of expertise include customer experience and distribution strategy. In addition, he frequently helps clients define operating models and enhance capabilities to best align with their overall strategy. Kevin has worked extensively with firms in the retail banking, wealth management and life insurance sectors. Kevin has also authored numerous articles and has spoken at industry conferences on topics related to the financial services’ customer. In addition to his roles serving clients, Kevin leads Training and Development for Deloitte’s U.S. Strategy and Operations analyst program.
Prior to joining Deloitte, Kevin worked at Bear Stearns and J.P. Morgan on various corporate-level growth and restructuring initiatives. Kevin holds an MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business, and a BA in Economics from Queens College, where he graduated cum laude.
