Welcome to New York University. Since your acceptance to NYU, you should have received a variety of mailings beginning in May. These include information about living on campus, school orientations, financial aid, tuition payment, registration, Welcome Week, health resources, and much more. So be sure to activate youe NYU ID, becuase you will be receiving important details and deadlines throughout the summer. This site is a great starting point for a variety of resources that will help you succeed in your first year at Washington Square.

If you're a new freshman living on campus this fall, mark your calendar for Sunday, August 30 , which is move-in day! By August 5th you will receive via postal mail your residence hall assignment and roommate information. Together with the printed material you will receive by mail, this site will help prepare you for moving onto campus and starting your adventure at NYU. The first thing you should do is log in and register for a check-in time on move-in day. Use the link on the upper right to reserve a check-in time. Read more.

If you're a transfer or student transitioning back to Washington Square after being abroad, you do NOT need to RSVP to check-in. However, please review your mailed material from the NYU Department of Housing regarding your move to campus.

All new students are welcome to join us from 8am-5pm on Sunday, August 30 stop by Gould Plaza for refreshments, information, and an opportunity to meet with representatives from Welcome Week, Parent Resources, Commuter Services, Dining Services, Campus Cash, Public Safety, Campus Services, Inter-Residence Hall Council, Student Health Center, Wellness Exchange, Information Technology Services (ITS), Center for Spiritual Life, and the NYUBookstores. Across the street, the Student Services Center which houses the Bursar, Registrar, and Financial Aid Office will also be open. Students can also visit the Office of International Students and Scholars, or pick up their NYUCard (Student ID) at the Kimmel Center for University Life. Read more.
