Getting Your NYUCard

REGISTRATION IS CLOSED

Registration closed on August 18th at noon. Check-in times can no longer be reserved.

If you don't have your NYUCard yet, you'll want to get it as soon as possible once you get to campus. You'll need to have it in order to utilize the Student Services Center, University computer labs, to gain entry to any University buildings (including residence halls), NYU libraries, and Coles and Palladium Sports Centers. The NYUCard is also required to use the NYU campus transportation, purchase tickets at Ticket Central, eat in a dining hall (if you have a meal plan), and purchase items with Campus Cash.

Additionally, the card has important phone numbers on the back, as well as your University ID Number (commonly referred to as your “N Number”) and your NetID. Your NYUCard is considered official University identification, and you may not lend your NYUCard to anyone else for any reason. Unauthorized use of your NYUCard may lead to disciplinary action.

To obtain a NYUCard, you must go in person to the NYU Card Center (or, on Sunday, August 26th, to the Kimmel Center) and bring a valid form of identification. Acceptable forms of identification include: a driver's license, passport, alien registration card, OR two credit cards along with another form of photo ID.
