University Presidential Transition Team | About | President-Designate Sexton

President-designate John Sexton has been affiliated with New York University since 1981. During this time, he was not only an inspiration in the classroom, but is credited with leading the Law School to one of the top in the nation. Key to this is Sexton's belief that investment in faculty drives academic excellence.

One of Sexton's greatest accomplishments at the School of Law is his global law school initiative. This begins with the notion that there are no significant legal or social problems today that are purely domestic. It is the application of that perspective, introducing new vantage points, that has placed NYU's law school among the nation's elite.
