As part of the Training for Moving Image Specialists in Libraries (TMISL) project, MIAP has designed and implemented workshops on moving image and sound collection care, handling, and administration for working library professionals, drawing on its own curriculum and resources. The workshops are hosted by the Metropolitan New York Library Council (METRO) and address the needs of library professionals who are looking to build new skills in caring for moving image and sound collections. The final workshop in the series will be held at the American Library Association's annual conference in 2014.
