Howard Besser on recent IFLA AVMS work at ALA Mid-Winter Video Roundtable Meeting

Howard Besser will be at the ALA Mid-Winter conference in Boston from January 15-19. He will give a report to the Video Roundtable on recent and current work of the International Federation of Library Association's Audiovisual and Multimedia Section (AVMS). He will discuss a full day workshop on audiovisual preservation for librarians that was held at the IFLA annual conference in Milan, Italy in August 2009. He will also report on the survey on Legal Deposit for AV materials that IFLA is currently collecting responses for, the World Day for Audiovisual Heritage, the upcoming Joint Technical Symposium in Oslo, and the next IFLA meeting.
