As part of the release of the DVD "Unseen Cinema: Early American Avant-Garde Film 1894-1941", the Museum of the Moving Image in Queens will have a series of screenings beginning at 2pm Saturday, and a panel discussion (with clips) at 4pm Saturday. From 10am-12pm the Moving Image Archiving and Preservation Program will host an Open House for all those interested in learning more about the program.
Afterwards, you are invited to attend a special event in the Cinema Studies Department.

2009 MIAP Thesis Presentations
April 14–17
This past April, MIAP students presented their final thesis presentations, fulfilling one of the final requirements for graduation. This annual series of presentations takes place in the Cinema Studies Department, and is open to the public.
