Spring 2009, Siobhan Hagan, Internship at Transit Museum

Working in the Transit MuseumÕs Special Collections, Soibhan Hagan cataloged 250 videotapes contained in the Government and Community Relations Collection of the Transit Authority. Hagan strengthened her skills as a cataloger using archival classification systems and standards for intellectual control, and gained insight into the similarities and differences between professional practices in museums and archives.
