Jody Waldron, BFA 2000
Jody Waldron has worked as site photographer at the excavations of the ancient city of Aphrodisias in Anatolian Turkey. He has pursued site photography, including the excavations of the funerary monuments at Abydos, Egypt, as well as projects in the Middle East. These projects involve details and traces of personal markings, both from ancient and modern times, which he feels to be essential and evocative symbols of both personal and social identity. When not working abroad, he lives and works as a freelance photographer/web designer in Brooklyn, NY. He has also recently received national certification as an Emergency Medical Technician.
