Karl Peterson, BFA 1989
Karl Peterson is the Technical Director of the Department of Photography and Imaging and a member of the adjunct faculty. His work has appeared in Bataille’s Eye, published by the Institute of Cultural Inquiry, CA; and in a group shows at LZ gallery, NYC, Radio Perfecto, NYC, and in Osaka Japan. He was the department’s first Daniel Rosenberg Fellow in 1989. His work is predominantly travel oriented, and he has been to Cuba, South East Asia, India, Turkey, Egypt, Tunisia, and throughout Eastern and Western Europe. He also designs and builds furniture, dabbles in oil paint, and enjoys riding motorcycles. He lives in New York City.
