Pedro Linger Gasiglia, 1998
Pedro Linger Gasiglia received an Andean University grant to document Latin American Immigrants in New York. He has worked at the Central American History Institute in Nicaragua and collaborated with the Argentine Forensic Anthropology Team in New York. His work has been included in exhibitions at Taller Latinoamericano, Emerging Photographers, Sag Harbor Picture Gallery, both in New York; the Central American History Institute, Nicaragua; and a solo show at the Alpes Art Institute in Santiago de Chile. He has been a contributor to Mother Jones since 2001 and has also been published in The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, Culture Front Magazine, Clarín (in Argentina), La Nación (in Argentina), and PixelPress.org. In addition to working on his photographic projects, he currently works with Susan Meiselas in New York City.
