Jeremiah Clancy, BFA 1997
Jeremiah Clancy initially worked in film production while continuing independent photography and video projects. Assisting in art direction and production designlead him to perform with companies such as Doorika and Gale Gates Et. Al. In 1999 Clancy became a member of FischerSpooner, a music/performance-based group. This troupe has performed all over the world, these performances leading to a photographic series entitled “Adventures in Appreciation.” He has work-shopped and performed in a collaborative piece with Erika Yeomans for the Deleware Biennial and began a five part video/film series with Neil Rosen, a musician based in New York City. He has received the Colbert Award for Visual Art for his work with FischerSpooner and lives in
New York City.
