Vectorworks for Lighting Designers will act as an introduction to VectorWorks 2009, a computer-aided drafting program, as a tool for drafting a professional light plot. In this studio class we will explore the VectorWorks environment and the advantages of using VectorWorks in the theatre. We will focus on two-dimensional drawing tools and those aspects best suited for lighting designers. We will also discuss drafting standards and lighting paperwork.
