This course is intended to familiarize students with the managerial duties and responsibilities normally associated with the position of Production Manager. Over six weeks, students will be examining theatrical organization, scheduling, budgeting, and staffing. The class will explore the role of production manager as a facilitator of the artistic process and a steward of the resources of the producing organization. An emphasis will be placed upon common management principles.
