Contracts and Law is an introduction to the contracts and agreements required to produce and present a play or musical including the agreements with the author, director, designers, actors, theatre and investors. The course traces the life of an actual off-Broadway production beginning at its inception through to its New York opening whereby the student gains not only an understanding of how shows are put together but also what realistically is expected if hired to work on one.
