This course will familiarize the students with the responsibilities of the General Manager and Company Manager of a commercial theatrical production.Through ‘case study’ examination of current running productions, we will examine the role of General and Company Managers throughout the entire lifespan of a show: pre-production schedules, contracts & budgets, day-to-day operating responsibilities & challenges as well as final closing duties.
