We will also touch on lighting history, lighting paper work, and lighting in Europe
and on tour world wide. This class will attempt to give everyone a strong understanding

Fundamentals of Stagecraft: Lighting II - Studio Light Lab
This course offers the student the opportunity to exercise the technical and creative
skills developed in Lighting I. The student will be called on to express ideas or
respond to text through the creative use of instrumentation, color, intensity, and
angle of light. Emphasis will be placed on collaboration with directors as well as
technical crews. Each student will play designer, electrician, board operator and
actor as they support each other's work. The ability to give and receive constructive
criticism will also be developed.
