Biography
When Sten is not teaching undergratuate sound designers in Tech Track he designs sound in a variety of venues. His work can be heard in Broadway theaters, opera houses, regional stages and museums around the country. He is currently an associate partner with Acme Sound Partners and has shared in the sound design of many of the Partnership's recent productions including Hair, 12th Night and In the Heights. Other credits include productions for The Public Theatre, Center Stage (Baltimore), Williamstown Theater Festival, Ford's Theatre, Julliard School, Santa Fe Opera, Yale Rep, Cherry Lane, numerous other Off-Broadway and Broadway productions, a slew of other regional productions and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Annex NYC.
