Submission Guidelines

  • We are able to consider only one play per playwright.

  • Full-length plays that have not had productions in the U.S. are preferred but one-acts will be considered. We are currently unable to consider musicals.

  • All scripts must be submitted in English

  • In addition to the play, all submissions must include:
    * contact information
    * a writing resume
    * a brief synopsis of the play
    * a character breakdown

    • Please note that we are unable to consider any submissions that do not include all these materials.

  • Please be advised that materials will not be returned. Selected playwrights will be contacted by mid-November.

  • Due to limited resources, hotINK cannot cover the cost of travel or housing for selected playwrights.
