1965UU, by Mac Wellman, was produced at the Chocolate Factory in October, 2008… WOMAN BOMB/SADE , by Allan Graubard and Caroline McGee, will appear in a book in Albania, translated into Albanian by Stefan Capaliku, whom the authors met at hotINK… The Vigil or the Guided Cradle, by Crystal Skillman was further developed with director Erica Gould in a New Georges Mini Workshop and read at Rattlestick Playwrights Theatre in July 2008… Scorched, by Wajdi Mouawad, was produced by Philadelphia’s Wilma Theater in February 2009… Best Possible World, by Tee O’Neill, is in negotiation to be produced as a film in Australia… Amelia Breathes Deeply, by Alina Nelega, has been published and produced in Poland and the Czech Republic, and twice more, in Romania. It is the most produced Romanian monodrama ever and author Alina Nelega has been shortlisted for the Romanian Writers' Union award… Into the Numbers, by Christopher Chen, has been translated into Chinese and will receive its world premiere at the Beijing Youth Festival in September. It was also a semi-finalist for the Princess Grace Award and received a Ford Foundation Emerging Writers of Color Dev. Grant; it was performed in the New Eyes Festival at Theatre Mu in MN and is receiving a staged reading at Silk Road in Chicago in Dec 2008; and it has been awarded the Belarus Free Theatre Playwriting Award and is being translated into Russian…The Elephant Song, by Nic Billon had a reading at New York's Workshop Theater Company in May 2008, directed by Daryl Boling… Dov and Ali by Anna Ziegler was produced in June 2009 at the Cherry Lane by Playwrights Realm, and in London (June 2008) by Theatre 503…Song of Extinction, by E.M. Lewis, was produced in November 2008 at [Inside] the Ford in Los Angeles and received the 2009 Harold and Mimi Steinberg/ATCA New Play Award…Maria/Stuart, by Jason Grote, premiered at in Washington, D.D. at Woolly Mammoth in August 2008… If your play was presented in a previous hotINK Festival, update us!
