hotINK 2010 International Play Reading Festival

  1. Full-length plays that have not had productions in the U.S. are preferred but one-acts will be considered. We are currently unable to consider musicals.
  2. All scripts must be submitted in English
  3. Due to the volume of plays we receive, one script submission per author will be considered; if more than one script is sent, neither will be considered.
  4. If your work was presented in hotINK 2009, we ask that you kindly wait until next year to submit a play.
  5. In addition to the play, all submissions must include:
    • contact information
    • a writing resume/CV
    • a brief synopsis of the play
    • a character list and brief description of roles
    • for U.S. playwrights: a submission reading fee of $10*, payable by check or money order. Checks should be made out to TSOA Department of Drama.

Please note that we are unable to consider any submissions that do not include all the above materials.

*The decision to impose a submission reading fee this year was taken in the face of serious budget concerns and out of a desire to continue to provide the level of service to playwrights that the hotINK Festival has come to represent. We hope that next year’s economic outlook will be better. Should this fee present a hardship, please contact Festival Director Catherine Coray to request a waiver. cc19@nyu.edu
Thank you for your understanding.
