The Experimental Theatre Wing is a four year professional training program that prepares students to make their own work and to collaborate with experimental and mainstream theatre artists and companies. Our curriculum provides a wide range of voice, movement, and acting methods, so that students can choose the techniques that will best serve them and develop their own artistic vision.
Students benefit from ETW's long history of facilitating collaborations between theatrical artists: they work closely with faculty who are at the cutting edge of their disciplines, perform in productions directed by distinguished faculty and guest artists, and create and produce their own work together with fellow students. Our summer program in Amsterdam provides these same opportunities in the context of a vital cross-section of the European experimental theatre community. Our alumni go on to perform, create, and direct successfully in a wide range of national and international venues.
