Thank you for your interest in the hockey program at New York University. This is a very exciting time to get involved with this program as we look to build a culture that the student body, faculty, administration and community will be proud to be a part of. There are very few hockey programs in the world that can offer the same opportunities and experiences that NYU and New York City have to offer its student/athletes.

In order to build this exciting culture which I envision, it begins with having the right people involved. Pride, commitment and honesty are the values I look for in prospective players and I hold very high expectations for myself, staff and student/athletes.

In my eyes, to be a NYU Hockey player it takes a special individual; one who can consistently perform at a high level athletically, excels in the classroom and understands the value of community service. Being able to balance your academic and athletic schedule is quite the challenge, but I guarantee that our student/athletes will receive the proper support to get the job done both on and off the ice.

It is my commitment to ensure that each player who graduates from this program can look back and be proud of the mark they left in the tradition of NYU Hockey. The question I ask each player who steps into our locker-room for the first time is – How do you want to be remembered?

If you are up for the challenge to be a part of this exciting culture or if you have any questions about our program please feel free to contact me.

Thank you for your interest and I will see you around the rink!

Sincerely,

Chris Cosentino
