PROSPECTIVE STUDENT ATHLETES
	Are you a strong academic student who plays competitive ice hockey in high school or for a travel team? If so, New York University Ice Hockey is interested in you! Prospective Student-Athletes are urged to do the following things: 1. Print out and return the Prospective Student Athlete Form. By filling out this form, you're giving the NYU Ice Hockey coaching staff all the information they need to get you started down the road to becoming a part of our team. 2009 Ice Hockey Prospective Student Athlete Form 2. Sign-up NOW for the SAT and the SAT-2 tests. New York University requires that all applicants take two SAT-2 subject tests in addition to the standard SAT. Be sure to take these in your STRONGEST subjects! 3. E-mail General Manager Elizabeth Miller to set up a time to speak with a coach about our program, to set up a tour of New York University and for information about attending a game. 4. Come see what we have to offer IN PERSON. Visit campus, take a tour, watch a practice, meet with the coaching staff and attend a game. It is only by doing this that you can experience NYU Ice Hockey at its fullest, and make an informed decision about whether NYU is the place for you.

	Did you play ice hockey for New York University? If so, we would love to hear from you! Please send an e-mail with your contact information to the Alumni Association President, Kerri D'Ambrosio. Kerri will contact you with information about the 2010 Hockey Alumni Game, which will take place on Friday, February 19, 2010 at 7:00pm.
	VIOLET BOOSTER CLUB
	The Violet Booster Club, established in 1983, provides a way to rally behind NYU's growing ice hockey program as well as other varsity teams, club teams, and intramural and recreation programs. The Violet Booster Club is comprised of parents, former student-athletes, and others in the NYU community who recognize the value of athletics on campus or who enjoy cheering at our exciting games. By joining the Violet Booster Club, and specifying ice hockey on your VBC application, you are showing New York University that you support NYU Ice Hockey. Your contribution of $50 or more helps underwrite the costs for team travel, recruitment of student-athletes, promotion of games, team publications, equipment, and improvement of facilities.
