Spring Sustainability Projects and Events

January 25, 2008
On January 31st, over a thousand colleges and universities will be participating in the largest teach-in in US history: a national day of climate change action called Focus the Nation.

At NYU, we will use this day to engage faculty, students and staff from disciplines across the curriculum, in contributing to a national conversation about global warming.

This is going to be the biggest event ever on climate change at NYU, and we need you to be there! For detailed information and all day events schedule, visit Focus the Nation page here.

Press Guide

This Press Pack includes links and key information that will equip you with an up-to-date summary of NYU's Sustainability Initiative.

We ask that members of the press planning to write an article or request an interview with us first review this material, so that we start on the same page and share additional background and information as effectively as possible. Thanks!

We encourage you to visit the Sustainability Task Force and About Sustainability pages, as well as Michael Alfano's 9-2007 memo to the community. These materials encapsulate our mission and goals.

You can also read over our archives, which include past coverage in the Washington Square News and external press.
